Common Abreviations (useful to decode 'vet-speak'and save time when posting to a board)

BG = Blood Glucose

CBC = Complete Blood Count

Chem = Blood Chemistry Panel

CRF = Chronic Renal (kidney) Failure

Dx = Diagnosis / diagnosed

FeLV= Feline Leukemia Virus

FIP = Feline Infectious Peritonitis

FIV = Feline Imunodeficiency Syndrome

FUS = Feline Urological Syndrome

Hyper-T = Hyperthyroidism

Rx = Prescription

USG or SG = Urine Specific Gravity or Specific Gravity
