I am Little Miss Lady Blue Valentine Slipper, or as Mom calls me, Valentine. My Mom adopted me from Bide-A-Wee animal shelter when I was a toddler. Mom says that I am super special, and even though she never had a kitty before, I captured her heart and we have been inseparable ever since that day when we first met.

I came to the shelter as an outdoor kitty, only six months old. I was loaded with fleas, and was attacked by an animal before Mom knew me. It was scary. I had to have an operation and now I only have three legs and my tail is broken in three places, and I have a broken vertibrae. But Mom says that I am perfect just the way I am. She thinks I am the most purr-fectest kitty ever! And Mom keeps me safe inside so that I am always safe.

Mom named me Valentine, because it means couragous and valiant, and because she didn't know my birthday, but her and the doctor estimated that it was in Februrary. Little Miss Lady Blue Valentine Slipper is a combination of all the names everyone was trying to come up with. Mom called me slipper for a while because I used to lay on her feet and my soft fur kept her warm!

and cl-frostymommy's "Gibby"

Hi, I am Gibby. Mom named me Gibson, because I am handsome like the famous actor from Australia. But most people don't call me that. Mostly it is Gibby, Gibbles, Gibblebibble, or Mr. Gibblesworth.

I was abandoned at an animal shelter in NY and I adopted my Mom when I was 11 months old. She says that I am a traditional apple head Siamese, or at least that is what everyone thinks. Lots of people think I am going to be unfriendly when the first meet me, because I always wear a serious, dignified expression, but I am a very friendly fellow. I think being a gentleman is important so Mom always dresses me in a nice bow tie.

"It was said that when Siamese kings died, their souls would pass on to a Siamese cat, so that he could be present at the coronation of the succeeding king before attaining heaven. This cat would have been treated as part of the Royal family, and would have resided in the palace."

These are my naughty, cuddly boys Tahi and Rua also known as 'Tarzipan' and 'Teddy' respectively. They are 8 years old and are big old lazy smoochers and take very good care of thier little 'sister' Peach by bathing and cuddling her on demand.
